Citing sources avoids plagiarism, and plagiarism can be avoided by citing sources. Plagiarism is also an act of stealing, which is a crime. To grow to a more decent Paulinian, actions like that should be avoided. Even though the author isn’t looking at us right now, we should still do the right thing and cite sources, because who knows what he/she might do to you if you don’t. That’s called integrity, and practicing it can help me grow to a more decent Paulinian. Citing sources without the author looking is also a sign of honesty. You told the readers that truth that you used someone else’s idea. If you’re having trouble citing sources, the APA format can help you with that. All you need to do is follow the desired format. If the thing you’re citing is a magazine, then use the magazine format, and so on. However, because of the technology of our time, we can now do it easier. All you need to do is to input the required information. But even though technology today is capable of doing that, it can have problems, too. That’s why manual is still used today. Because of both manual and automatic ways of citing sources, the chance of getting plagiarism is low but not zero.
